Dr Nelson and dr white have been taking care of mine and my parents pets since I was a child. Now that I’m an adult with fur babies of my own it only made sense to bring them here. I rescued an injured kitty from HAS with a nasty wound that wasn’t treated correctly. Dr. Nelson looked him over and gave me his cell phone number to send pictures to make sure it was healing properly. I can walk into this office at any time and be asked about my parents and their dogs by name, as well as my own pets. I can’t say enough good things about this place. The price may be a little higher than others, but our fur babies deserve the best, and this is it.
I had Charlie’s ear condition explained to me in detail. My Charlie is 6 years old,and I do think we have finally found him the perfect Dr.
Charlie also has a skin condition that is being treated correctly. Dr. Muther was patient and answered questions and concerns. The tech that took care of Charlie was extremely knowledgeable as well. No wait time was great and waiting on the Dr. Was less than 5 minutes!

I have never had a bad experience here. The staff is always kind to me and the dog. The doctors are very down to earth and truly care about the animals they care for. I’ve been using them for years and have always felt this way. I am so thankful for them and the service they provide.
I just moved to this area and needed to take my cat in. They were able to get me in the very same day. The lobby and exam room were clean. The staff was really friendly. The vet tech that helped me was super nice. Dr. Nelson came and checked my cat. He put me at ease that my cat was okay and he didn’t prescribe unnecessary meds. The cost for the visit was very reasonable. If I need to take any of my pets to a vet, I would take them there because of their excellent service.
I took my baby puppy when he was 4 weeks old to see Vet he had fallen off my bed and that caused him some problems but at 17 weeks old he got a great bill of health. I thank the Vet and all the employees there they are great.
To make a long story short I was in Alabama traveling when we had an emergency with my Boxer. I stopped at this Vet for help and they delivered. Every one that we had contact with was professional, caring, they kept me informed of everything that was going on. There are not words to say how AMAZING this place is. I am sad they are so far away from where we live. They got my dog comfortable so we could make the remaining 200 miles home.They have even followed up with us since we got home to see how we are doing.
A wonderful place. I “accidentally” transferred here after a supposedly one-time appointment when my original vet was out of office. The treatment and care was such a different experience than what I had previously experienced that I knew this was a place that I wanted to take care of my boy. So thankful for the turn of events that led me here. I will always recommend Countryside.
Lindsey at countryside, an awesome tech, and all of the doctors we have seen with our fur babies have been amazing. They take the time to listen and to help us. I don’t want to try and name all the docs that have taken care of our babies but I will say Dr. Nelson, Dr. White, Dr. Conley, and Dr. Sanders to name just a few treated our babies when they were healthy and when they were sick and comforted us as much as them. The rest of the docs that we have seen have done this too but these have been there for us and with us through the good, the badz and ugly, and the losses. Thank you all at Countryside for all you do
These are the sweetest people I’ve ever known. I took my dog in the office, as a walk in. My dog was scared and I was scared too. The vet and the technicians were very helpful and easy our fears. The tests were run on my dog Rather quickly and we were informed that Our dog would be fine. we were given medication and as quickly as we got there we were back out the door in no time.I very highly recommended this Veterinary Hospital to everyone.
I recently adopted a dog from the Huntsville Shelter and just wanted a vet to check her out. It had been years since I have had a pet or been around livestock so my former vet had long retired and that practice no longer exists. Scheduling was easy and the staff were all very friendly. Dr. Putman examined my dog and explained things thoroughly. He was pleasant in demeanor and seems to actually care about the critters. I am very impressed with the quality of the services, the cleanliness of the facility, and the professionalism of all the staff. For a checkup I was surprised at the cost being relatively lower than I expected. I’m glad I called them.
This is one of the best places that I have been for both vet and boarding services. They have multiple quality vets, options for daycare and really nice overnight options too.
Our fur baby loves coming here for doggy daycare! We love bringing her here for all of her Healthcare needs. The veterinarians are attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable.
Boarded our 14 yr old dog for 6 days. I had no worries before or after. Wouldn’t hesitate to call on them again.
